The Saviours Name
I absolutely love the older hymns and really enjoy singing them. I love also how they seem to be timeless. How that no matter what in times of worship using the right hymn at the right moment can unite everyone in the congregation and result in amazing worship.
I love this hymn “There is a name I love to here” or also known as “the Saviours name” I was playing about one night with some chords and thought I would have a go putting a slightly different melody on this. So this is the what I came up with.
I hope you enjoy, but more importantly I hope it blessed you and hope you listened to the lyrics and the truth of them touched you:
“It tells of one who’s loving heart can feel my deepest woe, who in my sorry bears a part, than none can bear below.”
A God who loves us, and is concerned about us is the message of this song. Please remember that!
